constant redirecting.ran maleware many times,have AVG installed
I have had to reformat about 3 weeks ago.I installed only a few of my programs that have been working for over 5 years. installed fire fox.Every time I get on the internet I get redirected to another site.I have tried using malware by anti-malware. I also have microsoft security essentials.Sometimes while I am on my astronomy site firefox works fine for maybe for 10 min. then I get redirected,and have to log on again.malware,essentials,and AVG shows everything is clear.Please help me get my computer back,or do I have to use another browser .

If your current antivirus software was not able to detect a virus or malware, please consider running some or all of these free programs:
- Microsoft Safety Scanner
- MalwareBytes' Anti-Malware
- Anti-Rootkit Utility - TDSSKiller
- AdwCleaner (for more info, see this alternate AdwCleaner download page)
- Hitman Pro
- ESET Online Scanner
These programs will scan your system and may detect issues that your other scanner(s) missed.
Sometimes malicious Firefox addons are to blame for these types of issues. To ensure that an addon is not causing the issue, please try running Firefox in safe mode. Safe mode is a diagnostic mode that will temporarily disable your addons, revert some settings and disable hardware acceleration.
If the issue is not present in safe mode, then one of your installed addons might be to blame. If the issue is still there in safe mode, then please contact us for further support.
