yahoo toolbar
I don't understand why Firefox determines any software from Yahoo is corrupt? What qualifies Firefox to make such a stupid decision. I've been having issues installing Yahoo Toolbar onto my Firefox Browser all day. I tried installing the yahoo toolbar from Firefox's add-on and it doesn't work!
I downloaded the yahoo toolbar last night from the URL: https://toolbar.yahoo.com/?.intl=us which worked perfectly but as of this morning, Firefox determined the toolbar was corrupt because their "Certificate" was not up to date.
I can't tell you how frustrating this is, Firefox is in no position to say what's corrupt from Yahoo, really?! I will say any download I try from Firefox from your pathetic ADD-On page is not even close to being accurate. I tried downloading the yahoo toolbar from this URL: https://us.toolbar.yahoo.com/toolbar?code=113 but after downloading the toolbar this crap doesn't even show up and it doesn't exist after clicking on View> Toolbars off the Menu
What is firefox trying to do here, this really is driving me nuts and this is absolute BS, what are you people Firefox trying to do! Get your act together and why mess up something which isnt broken.

Your extension list shows:
Yahoo Toolbar and New Tab 5.0.2
This is a new product launched August 1st. As explained by Yahoo:
On August 1, 2016 we will simplify the Firefox Yahoo Toolbar and upgrade your browser to the New Tab by Yahoo extension experience. This extension provides a static version of Yahoo Toolbar and customizes your new tab page with Flickr photos and quick access to your top sites. Please note, you will no longer be able to modify your toolbar layout.

To get the pre-August 1 bar back, here's what I suggest:
(1) Instally the July 26th version of the toolbar from the following page:
https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/yahoo-toolbar-and-new-tab/versions/
(2) Before restarting Firefox, turn off automatic updating for the extension on the Add-ons page. Either:
- Ctrl+Shift+a (Mac: Command+Shift+a)
- "3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons
In the left column, click Extensions. Then on the right side find the Yahoo toolbar -- I think it will be under one entry and not two entries, but we're in new territory here...
Click the tiny More link under the title Yahoo toolbar, then on that next page, find the row for Automatic Updates and set it to Off.
Then you can use the restart link for the toolbar to complete the installation.
