no matter how many times or different ways i've run the installer it will not install the plugin in firefox 50.

i have to run internet explorer to make phone calls thru GMAIL and its a pain cause i only ever use firefox.

Please advise how to install the plugin.

I'm on Windows 10 pro v1607 all windows updates applied. Machine is fresh install a few days ago.

That is because you have a 64 bit Firefox version according to the user agent.

  • User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:50.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/50.0

Only the Shockwave Flash plugin and Silverlight plugins are enabled for 64 bit Firefox versions for Windows. If you need to use other plugins like Java or media players then install the 32 bit Firefox release.
