Hello,

When I write an email I end up with two icons in the system tray. One opens Thunderbird, the other does nothing. It can't be restored, and the Close menu option on the context menu does nothing. When I close Thunderbird I see it quickly before the program closes, but it's too fast to be able to read the content.

I have Minimize to tray, emoji, lightning and manually sort folders add-ons installed. I've tried removing them but it does not resolve the problem.

Thanks

hold the shift key when starting Thunderbird and continue in safe mode when prompted. If the issue does not appear it will be a fault in one of the addons.

Given Thunderbird does not put an icon in the system tray I guess it will be minimize to tray.
