Connection timeout setting on page refresh
I have a computer I use to monitor the status of several servers via a web page which contains multiple iFrames. The iFrames have http-equiv="refresh" in them which updates the frame every few minutes. When I wake the computer from sleep it takes 30 seconds for the network card to wake up and the auto refresh is failing . Prior to upgrading from FF 28 everything was fine, but now I am getting "The connection was reset" in the frames.
I tried adjusting network.http.response.timeout and network.http.connection-timeout but still have the problem.

I just did a little more testing and the results are confusing me:
With F50 installed, if I hibernate, when the computer wakes I get the connection error on the page with auto refresh. I reinstalled FF28, let the computer hibernate, when it wakes all is as I expected and was previously, no connection error.
What is confusing me (and maybe my original question is not completely accurate), If I disable the network card with FF28 installed and then do a manual refresh I INSTANTLY get the connection error.
So an auto refresh under FF28 waits until there is a connection and then refreshes, but a manual one times out instantly. This is actually perfect and what I would like to have under FF50 which in instantly giving me the connection error under both situation.
