My firefox previous restore session gave me all blank tabs as opposed to the previous session, how do I get them all back?
I recently used a restore previous session after firefox stopped responding and I had to manually exit it. I've done this before with no problem and usually my previous session comes right back. This time around all of my saved tabs returned as blank. I reallyr eally need those back! I even tried going into the sessionstore backups and I found a file that does contain my previous session's info but copying it over and renaming it as previous doesn't cause the tabs to come back properly...I'm not sure what to do to fix this, please help

Are you sure you have copied previous.js from the sessionstore-backups profile subfolder to sessionstore.js in the profile folder itself after waiting a bit until Firefox completely was closed?

Hi Patricia, it sounds like you may have used the Refresh feature. In that case, Firefox moved your entire old profile folder to your desktop inside that Old Firefox Data folder.
Refresh should preserve your bookmarks, but it does restore default settings and removes extensions. If you want to try a complete roll-back of the Refresh, there's no one-click feature for that, but with some copy/paste, it's possible. See, for example: I did a Reset of Firefox - How do i get add my 'Old firefox data' back?
Regarding your original issue, sometimes the session history file gets damaged for reasons that are not clear. I have a tool to extract the URLs from the file, so you could try that with one or more of the files in the sessionstore-backups folder in your old profile. Here's the page:
