Hello, I'm sorry to hear that its not working, well lets first try going to safe mode to see if it resolves the crashing. Now is it just ebay or do other websites have the the unresponsive script error?

Try Firefox Safe Mode to see if the problem goes away. Firefox Safe Mode is a troubleshooting mode that temporarily turns off hardware acceleration, resets some settings, and disables add-ons (extensions and themes).

If Firefox is open, you can restart in Firefox Safe Mode from the Help menu:

• Click the menu button , click Help and select Restart with Add-ons Disabled.

If Firefox is not running, you can start Firefox in Safe Mode as follows:

• On Windows: Hold the Shift key when you open the Firefox desktop or Start menu shortcut.
• On Mac: Hold the option key while starting Firefox.
• On Linux: Quit Firefox, go to your Terminal and run firefox -safe-mode
  (you may need to specify the Firefox installation path e.g. /usr/lib/firefox)

When the Firefox Safe Mode window appears, select "Start in Safe Mode".

If the issue is not present in Firefox Safe Mode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, theme, or hardware acceleration. Please follow the steps in the Troubleshoot extensions, themes and hardware acceleration issues to solve common Firefox problems article to find the cause.

To exit Firefox Safe Mode, just close Firefox and wait a few seconds before opening Firefox for normal use again.

Still same issue. And it's with ebay only right now after updating to 54.0.1, 64 bit.

So I would make sure all your drivers like your graphic card are up to date, if that doesn't help then I would suggest doing a clean reinstall. Certain Firefox problems can be solved by performing a Clean reinstall. This means you remove your Firefox program files and then reinstall Firefox. This process does not remove your Firefox profile data (such as bookmarks and passwords), since that information is stored in a different location.

To do a clean reinstall of Firefox, please follow these steps: Note: You might want to print these steps or view them in another browser.

1. Download the latest Desktop version of Firefox from mozilla.org (or choose the download for your operating system and language from this page) and save the setup file to your computer.
2. After the download finishes, close all Firefox windows (or open the Firefox menu and click the close button ).
3. Delete the Firefox installation folder, which is located in one of these locations, by default:
   • Windows:
     • C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox
     • C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox
   • Mac: Delete Firefox from the Applications folder.

Did it but no luck. Still same after clean install.

Alright here's what we can do, I would suggest installing this addon which basically blocks all scripts. So just for the time being go to eBay and see if it crashes. It shouldn't because all scripts are disabled and assuming it doesn't, click the the noscript icon in the top right when on eBay and start allowing a script one by one and see which one makes eBay crash.

I need the script because in ebay if I install this addon then item details page will not open. I installed new version 55.0.3 64 bit (Tried 32bit also but same error) and same type issue but different style. see image.
