Firefox ESR cannot find my printers and says I have none installed. I have two printers that every other program finds. Unable to print e-mail, maps, directions

I have two printers that are wireless (plus PDF printers) and all of my other programs can find them. They are installed in Windows 10 and one is marked as the default printer. However, nothing from the Internet or e-mail will print - Firefox cannot find any printers and when I tell it to install one, it says there are none.

I can't find anything in Firefox that installs a printer - just print preview and print - neither of which can find my printers.

How can I get Firefox ESR to find my printers. This is incredible hampering to my work and life.

Thank you for your help.

Since running Win 10 then laptop or what ever must be not bad. I see your plugins and most will run with the current version of Firefox 56.0.1 or there is something that is equivalent on the Extension site if search. So not seeing why running 52.0 Also most ESR are on version 52.0.4

Fyi: Windows 10 has changed your Video Card Driver to Microsofts Mobile Intel(R) 4 Series Express Chipset Family (Microsoft Corporation - WDDM 1.1)", https://www.howtogeek.com/302595/how-to-stop-windows-10-from-automatically-updating-hardware-drivers/

Check to see if running Flash Player Version: 27.0.0.170 https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/otherversions/ Step 1: Select Operating System Step 2: Select A Version (Firefox, Win IE . . . .) Note: Other software is offered in the download. <Windows Only>

Safe mode didn't make any difference.

Doing the printer reset didn't help either.

I could not find the Windows folder in the Geek article because the screen shot was not like anything on my computer that I am aware of. I spent a long time looking for those folders. Can you tell me how I can find them?

I have Firefox ESR 54.4.0.

I have Flash Player Version 27.0.0.170.

Still can't print anything. Very dismayed.

Windows 10 has been nothing but headaches for me. Nothing works right and I can't find anything since they changed it so much.

Please help me. Thank you.

Hi, is you PC connected to your printer? By that I mean, can you, for example, scan a document using the printer's software (it should be in the Start Menu). If not, you may need to update your printer's software/drivers from the manufacturers website to be compatible with Win10. That will help us determine whether it's specifically a FF issue. You could also test with another browser such as Edge.
