Thunderbird at startup gets Unresponsive Script box with the following:

A script on this page may be busy, or it may have stopped responding. You can stop the script now, or you can continue to see if the script will complete.

Script: chrome://messenger/content/mailWindowOverlay.js:1455

[] Don't ask me again
                                                                           Continue Stop script

It doesn't seem to matter which option I choose. I tried starting with no addons

That you for the great detail.

Start *Windows'* safe mode with networking enabled - win10 https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/12376/windows-10-start-your-pc-in-safe-mode Still In Windows safe mode, start thunderbird in safe mode - https://support.mozilla.org/kb/safe-mode-thunderbird

Does problem go away?

I restarted Thunderbird without add-ons, same error. Restarted Windows in Safe Mode with networking then started Thunderbird, still got same error. FYI, there was a similar thread in here (Support) about a year ago that is closed. It suggested the same Safe Mode test, but I never saw a resolution. Thanks again.
