Whenever I use Gmail it now says I should update to the latest version of Firefox. As far as I am aware I have that:- 56.0.2 64 Bit and Firefox says it is up to date on the help screen. Is there an incompatibility with Gmail and if so should I go back to 32 bit? Thanks

hi, your useragent (the information the browser sends to websites to identify its version) - apparently mistakenly - shows you're on firefox version 42. that's caused by some unnecessary/counter-productive "anonymisation" software coming from ablesoft - in case you have installed any addon from them please remove it & then refer to this article in order to reset the user-agent settings in firefox: How to reset the default user agent on Firefox
