hi :)

i read that private browsing has many great benefits, including block trackers, some scripts that slow down browser, etc... but it also wont save history, which part i dont want.

i wish to know a simple way to choose to browse like private browsing but still enable history saving.

please-- thanks for letting me know!

What did you read about the benefits of Private Browsing? URL of the web article, please.

The main feature of Private Browsing is that is doesn't save your browsing history; it "erases your tracks" by not saving browsing history beyond the open session so that other people who may have access to that computer can't see which websites that you have visited.

i cannot find the URL, (sorry!), but it was what popped up tonight when first opening the FF browser. Telling about the lastest FF version, and how fast and improved it is, and how much safer, etc. There it explained about the private window feature. It mentioned all these features as being part of it!
