I find when you type into the address bar you get a surgestion of what to look at .As I find this very anoying so have turned this off in settings.( Address bar browsing history) Now i find that when i type a address in the enter key no longer works. The only way i can enter the address is to move the cursor to the arrow and then right click. How can i stop the surgestions and still have the enter key work as it used to . This has only happened since Firefox was updated. If this is an improvement then i will be uninstalling Firefox!!

I think this is a "bug" in Firefox 57 and not an intentional change. However, other than leaving at least one category enabled (e.g., bookmarks or open tabs), I do not know of a way to re-enable the Enter key. It has come up in other threads, so someone else might remember a workaround.
