Search field on a certain website does not work in Firefox
Hello, The search field of Microsoft Glossary (https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/language) does not work in Firefox 59.0.1 (64 bits). The problem started only a few days ago (not sure if I updated Firefox before this problem started). The site works perfectly on Internet Explorer and Firefox 52.5.3 (32-bit), which I have on another PC.
I tried uninstalling, re-installing, starting in safe mode, refreshing and all of that did not help.
Should I try downgrading?
Thanks and regards, Tamago

Hi, it would be best to report the error from the computer with the error especially if have send info to Mozilla turned on within Firefox. Which you do for this 52.0
First try this please : *Repair System Registry and Files Find the Dos Prompt Right or Powershell Click and Run as Administrator then : Copy/Paste to Dos Window : SFC /Scannow (SFC <space>/Scannow) then hit Enter. Reboot when completed. TEST
SAFE MODE

In Firefox Safe mode these changes are effective:
- all extensions are disabled (about:addons)
- default theme is used (no persona)
- userChrome.css and userContent.css are ignored (chrome folder)
- default toolbar layout is used (file: localstore-safe.rdf)
- Javascript JIT compilers are disabled (prefs: javascript.options.*jit)
- hardware acceleration is disabled (Options > Advanced > General)
- plugins are not affected
- preferences are not affected

Hi Pkshadow,
Thanks for your message. I tried what you suggested. After the process in the DOS box ended, the following message was displayed:
Windows resource protection did not find any consistency violation (the wording might be different in English, as I use Japanese OS).
I rebooted the PC and started Firefox in safe mode, but the search field still does not work...
