When doing a search, when I select a site can I get it to automatically open in a new tab?

I do a search. I get multiple return options. When I select or click on one of the returns, how do I get it to automatically open in its new tab.

Before you click on the URL, press the Ctrl key, hold it and then press Enter.

Does that do what you want  ?
