I have a totally dead laptop with a lot of Firefox bookmarks. Is it possible to retrieve these from thee Mozilla folks or are they gone forever? I want to migrate them to my tablet.

Hi

You would need to rescue your Firefox profile from your laptop and use Firefox Sync to port them to your mobile device.

If the data held on the laptops hard drive cannot be accessed, I do not think what you would like to do is going to be possible.
