v52.9.1 I received an email a few days ago and read it. Short email. I accidentally moved it to an archive and then brought it back to my inbox. Today I opened it and find that its content has changed. It still has the correct title and from line in the inbox and when I open it, but the actual contents are now a concatenation of two other separate emails from other senders that are residing in my inbox. Both of those emails when opened are just fine. But I have lost the contents of the email in question which has now been replaced by the two others. Any thoughts?

You could try repairing the Inbox, but there is a risk it will get worse in that you may lose any damaged messages.

To repair any folder, select it, right-click it, select Properties then Repair Folder.

Thank you. Two questions. If I just repair that folder I am presuming my only risk is on items in that folder. Correct?

Also, the email is in my inbox. Can I move it to another folder and try to repair it there so that I don't risk messing with my inbox?
