In general all off my emails after processing go into a Master "Old Email" folder, however depending on the content of the email I may also store these emails in other folders such as "My Personal" or "My Work" folder. I want to clean up some of the older emails from my "Old Email" folder but when I delete these, they also get removed from any other folders such as "My Personal" which the email may exist in. Is there a way to just delete from only the specific folder "Old Email" and not delete this same message from any other folders it may exist in.

Then the answer to your question is No you can not delete things from one folder and not another as gmail only has one copy of the email and "labels" the copy and being in XXXX folder and YYYY folder.
