I tried to look through the help forum for answers, but I don't think I know enough about how this all works to effectively sort through possible problems. I read about how to report the crashes-- I have my latest Report ID here.

f5bd2a14-6af0-4021-b669-94182a05a8a1

Also, two more from today: 660d9637-1442-4e64-8b73-82e3efd84483 ed6d32a5-4c60-4de5-93bd-d18ebfa8c94b

Basically, Firefox crashes a LOT. Usually seems centered around Gmail, and just says "Gah your tab closed unexpectedly!" I am about to start using Chrome, which is super sad for me. I generally love Firefox! At present, I only have one add-on-- uBlock Origin, which I believe seems to have no updates. If there is something better that is getting good updates, I can switch it.

Here is the "drill" for getting help here when Firefox is crashing. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/firefox-crashes-troubleshoot-prevent-and-get-help

The three crash report ID's are for crash reports that haven't been submitted yet. Click on each one to submit them manually and then provide the resultant URL where the BP- has been appended to the ID string.

The crash reports server is often overloaded at certain times of the day and not every crash report is accepted due to "throttling" to prevent that server cluster from grinding to a halt. Plus it helps us when the user loads & views each submitted Crash Report first because it can take time for the viewing server to locate & load each report the first time. IOW, "we" go to view multiple reports and we can be sitting and waiting 25 seconds or even longer for that "retrieval" process to show us each Crash Report.

I don't think I understand most of that. I did do the thing where you type about:crashes and then it made a webpage about my crash. I have had a few since I posted earlier. Here is the webpage it made about the last one:

https://crash-stats.mozilla.com/report/index/041ee505-d86c-409a-b6ff-5b76e0180920

I still can't figure out where that BP ID is located, either.

Hi, is there a reason your running OS Version 6.1.7601 Service Pack 1 and not running with Service Pack 2 installed ?

Please install SP2 :

Increase your Swap File size :

Suggest as this is a older system and drivers have not been maintained to move to the ESR version of Firefox :

Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.
