I have received an invitation from Firefox to participate into a survey. I may gain an Iphone X. And guess what happened? I won the Iphone X. I do have topress the button that allows me to get the price, but I believe that this is a scam. Therefore I was wondering to ask you if this is for real or it is a scam? This is the page: http://competition7194.rpmprize81.life/?utm_medium=oxxGrJ1EO8rl%2flkgHhDHtdaJe%2b6y3ml38Z%2b1ZX9QaLo%3d&t=main7_5

Good for you to be on the alert, cause you are right : it's a scam.

You could report it (if you want to of course) :

It is good that you recognize that this is likely a scam and to ask first before giving any personal details on the page.

Mozilla has never had any so called prizes or promotions where you can win a prize, especially not something that can be say several hundred dollars US or more.

Variations of this scam has been for iPhone X, a Samsung S8 or S9 or a $1000 from some place like Amazon.

It may get triggered by some malvertising Ads on some websites. They are hoping for the less technical people to fall for this scam in giving personal details like name, address, email, phone#, money payment details like credit cards and such to pay that one or two dollar shipping.

Mozilla has done surveys over the years by way of say https://qsurvey.mozilla.com which is surveygizmo.com however no prizes are given.

This scam has not been reported on the forum that much lately thankfully.
