Firefox 63.0.3 64bit sluggish!

Upgrading from 63.0.1 to 63.0.3 dramatically reduced performance. Sites load slower, youtube video is sluggish. I have reverted back to 63.0 to fix these.

O.k. No luck by mozilla people, but I solved it by myself. When installing, run the offline installer as administrator. When installed, get to the firefox.exe file, open its properties and under the compatibility tab check the run as administrator option. Top notch performance again!

Also, bring back the option to disable update check! I am not going to move from 63.0 until you fix all of your mess! Unacceptable! One step ahead and two backward. That's what your recent updates are.

It is possible that your firewall or other security software blocks or restricts Firefox without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox application. Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full, unrestricted, access for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.

Separate issue :

Your system details show that you need to update your Adobe Flash Player - you're running an older version, which can cause problems. Would you please uninstall your current version and install the latest version, which is 31.0.0.148

Uninstaller : https://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/uninstall-flash-player-windows.html

Note : some 'extras' may be offered in the download.

There are no entries for firefox in my firewall. Version 63.0 works just fine. Upgrading to 63.0.3 not only results to a slower browser, but also sluggish video performance. On youtube HD videos stuck on frame 1.

Youtube is no flash. Also, 63.0 works just fine. I have tried again 63.0.3 and the problems get back.

My advice to update Flash is based on the assumption that you also use other sites (that do use Flash) ......

I updated flash, but it goes all the same. 63.0.3 is very slow. I did not care about flash as almost none of the sites of my interest uses flash. Strange how, reverting to 63.0 resolves all performance issues.

I started my post in which I advized to update Flash with :

"Separate issue "

Meaning that this does not apply to your current problem, but does have your best interest at heart though.

I'm glad that you did update Flash - well done  !

Any solution to this? Will a new version fix this, or should I stay at 63.0. It is kind of ridiculous updates messing things up.
