I have 3 questions. 1. The menus don't have pop-out menus i tried reinstalled FF and nothing happens. 2. When i used to use FF back in version 59? When i closed the browser then re-opened and went to restore previous tabs it would restore the session i last had. FF does do this right or was it a addon for older versions? 3.When people donate to Firefox where does the money go? I remember reading Mozilla bought something that was millions of dollars, maybe it was Pocket , and i remember thinking if Mozilla has this amount of money why do they ask for donations for FF and Thunderbird? Then someone told me FF and Thunder Bird are ran on donations and volunteers and Mozilla is a company, donations don't go to them.

Hi Jonl92:

1. The menus don't have pop-out menus i tried reinstalled FF and nothing happens.

Do you mean, where something should load a submenu, like

"3-bar" menu button > Library

It doesn't show the Library menu when you click? Or do you mean you like the other style of where submenus expand outwards instead of replacing the menu? Or something else?

2. When i used to use FF back in version 59? When i closed the browser then re-opened and went to restore previous tabs it would restore the session i last had. FF does do this right or was it a addon for older versions?

Firefox has a built-in session restore feature. However, it's possible you were supplementing it with an extension like Tab Session Manager, MySessions, or Session Sync. Using an extension allows you to save additional sessions and partial sessions, while Firefox's feature is always just the immediately previous session.

3.When people donate to Firefox where does the money go?

When you donate on this page

https://donate.mozilla.org/

proceeds go to the Mozilla Foundation and may be used for a wide range of purposes. Possibly there are ways to give a restricted donation that must be used for a particular project, but I haven't looked for it.

You can learn more about the Mozilla Foundation here:

See when i hover nothing happens, to any of the menus. I always have to clink on them to open a new menu. From what i remember hovering should show another menu? https://i.imgur.com/ESBUZaL.png

Hi Jonl92, since Firefox 57, I think the hovering is gone and you need to click. This could have been to make the menu more touch-friendly, since touch interfaces don't have a concept of hovering.

Ah i see. That kinda sucks. Thanks

If you want faster access to history, you could add the optional History menu button to your toolbar. It looks like a clock. Use the Customize panel (Customize Firefox controls, buttons and toolbars) to drag the icon to the desired spot on the toolbar.

Ah, yes. I forgot about that . Thanks again. :)
