When clicking on links to watch streaming video, a new window is formed behind the current window and tabs. How do you stop those new windows from opening?

If you are actually clicking links and they are opening in a new window, you can have them open in a new tab instead using the Open links in tabs instead of new windows option in the Firefox settings.

If you are just watching content and random windows are opening, you may want to try adjusting your pop-up blocker settings (see Pop-up blocker settings, exceptions and troubleshooting for more information). Pop-ups are pretty common on unofficial streaming websites.

Hope this helps.
