This week - 2/12/2019 - the Bookmarks star disappeared on both of my iPads. In the past I would get the star when I would click the address box. Now, nothing. I have tried changing every setting, to no avail. I cannot operate a browser without ready access to my bookmarks. At this point I have to go back to using Safari, reluctantly. Sigh.

Hi TBill,

Your bookmarks, along with history, reading list and download history can be found in a new spot called "Library."

  1. Tap the menu button (three lines) at the top of the screen. This will open up the menu panel.
  2. Tap "Library".

This will open up a new screen with bookmarks, etc. Please let us know if this worked.

Ugh. That's a big step backwards. It seems to me that you could have put in a control that lets the user choose to display the line that used to contain the star. I'll check periodically to see if this changes because I do otherwise like what you've done with Firefox, but this really is a deal breaker for me.
