Thunderbird 60.8.0 (32-bit) Provider (4.4.2) Lightning (6.2.8)

I've read that Google Tasks should be able to show up in Thunderbird Tasks but mine are definitely not being imported. Events and Calendar are syncing fine. The right pane for tasks is blank. People who say they have got it to work through the above programs have not posted How. As a number of people want instructions for this, I am hoping we can figure this out here. Thank you

I would guess they installed the provider, then added a google calendar using the provider. It appears in the new calendar flow as a calendar type Google. as opposed to caldav and ICS
