I am on Thunderbird 60.9.0 running on macOS 10.14.6. Thunderbird freezes at least once a day and has been for months. Is this a known problem? Given the number of updates on both Thunderbird and macOS I would have hoped it would have been fixed. The last few days it freezes soon after launching it. I then have to Force Quit.

This type of issue is discussed here:

Start with the simplest diagnostic step, i.e. run TB in safe mode (hold Option when you launch TB, or Help/Restart with add-ons disabled).

Sorry been busy and have not notice it freezing in a number of days so have not been prompted to try anything.

I am wondering as I am only running macOS Mojave v10.14.6 and thunderbird shows that I am up to date on v60.9.0. Is this the issue?
