I use a gamepad (SHIELD controller) to navigate and use my device when it is connected to the TV. The on-screen keyboard disappears when I am trying to type in the url bar if I move the right stick (which is acting as the mouse cursor). This is a pain because when I try to move the cursor to select the next letter in typing, the keyboard disappears. This does not happen when typing in text boxes on webpages. It works great when doing that. This is only when trying to type something in the url bar.

Hi

Wow, that sounds liek a great setup. Please appreciate that we are unable to test and support the many different combinations and ways in which people use Android devices.

I recomend that you try our new (still in development) browser - Firefox Preview (available from the Google Play Store) but also please appreciate that the issue could be witht he keyboard app on your device and not Firefox.
