How do I globally remove the two dashes inserted when using custom signature? When I create a custom signature, whether with a file or in the account settings, there are two dashes "--" on a line by themselves before the signature begins. I don't want these two dashes or at least, I don't want the new line (

) after them. I want the signature to start with something like "-- Myfirstname" and then some other data on following lines. These two characters result in something like:

etc.

The separator is automatically inserted so that replies to your messages don't include the signature. You shouldn't see two separators, but you can remove the automatic one:
