Starting 24 hours ago, Firefox loads a blank Facebook page. Whether using my homepage bookmark or simply entering http://www.facebook.com, all I get is a blank page.
I've tried: Starting Firefox in safe mode, Clearing cache and cookies, Deleting/reinstalling Firefox, Restarting my router.
Firefox opens all other websites without issue. Chrome opens Facebook as expected. I'm using Firefox 81.0.2 (64-bit) Windows 10 Home 64-bit Version: 18363.1139
I've tried reading through the over 2,000 "suggested" help topics related to Facebook loading a blank page, but none of the ones I read address this issue. What am I missing?
Thank you in advance, Don

I had the same problem and reported it to Facebook this morning. The problem has resolved by this action (for me anyway) Firefox was updated to 82.0.3 (64-bit)
I opened Firefox and I updated all of the filters in Adblock Plus in my settings for the Firefox extension. Facebook would still not open. I rebooted my Windows 10 Laptop I attempted to open Firefox and it would not render the Facebook Page. I disabled Adblock Plus extension. I opened Facebook and it opened perfectly in the Facebook container as designed.
I enabled Adblock Plus extension. I closed Firefox and I reopened Firefox and opened Facebook Facebook is working fine.

If you use extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) that can block content (Adblock Plus, NoScript, Disconnect, Ghostery, Privacy Badger, uBlock Origin) always make sure such extensions do not block content.
- make sure your extensions and filters are updated to the latest version

Firefox shows a purple shield instead of a gray shield at the left end of the location/address bar in case Enhanced Tracking Protection is blocking content. You can click shield icon for more detail and possibly disable the protection. You can check the Web Console for messages about blocked content.

You can remove all data stored in Firefox for a specific domain via "Forget About This Site" in the right-click context menu of an history entry ("History -> Show All History" or "View -> Sidebar -> History").
Using "Forget About This Site" will remove all data stored in Firefox for this domain like history and cookies and passwords and exceptions and cache, so be cautious. If you have a password or other data for that domain that you do not want to lose then make sure to backup this data or make a note.
You can't recover from this 'forget' unless you have a backup of involved files.
If you revisit a 'forgotten' website then data for that website will be saved once again.
Thank you for your speedy reply.
I've tried everything you suggested. The last resort, "Forget about this site," opened my Facebook homepage and made me log in. Then Firefox immediately displayed a blank page.
When I log out of my Facebook account in Chrome then log back in, my Facebook page is displayed as expected.
I don't know what else to do to make Firefox open my Facebook page.
You can check the Web Console (Tools -> Web Developer) for messages about blocked content and about the presence of mixed or unsafe content.
You can check the Network Monitor to see if content is blocked or otherwise fails to load.
If necessary use "Ctrl+F5" or "Ctrl+Shift+R" (Mac: Command+Shift+R) to reload the page and bypass the cache to generate a fresh log.

You can check for issues with location storage (indexedDB).
Thanks, cor-el, but that didn't help either. Would installing an earlier version of Firefox do anything? Maybe 81.0.1 since my update to 8.0.2 was on October 13. Think that might help?
Hi Don, the following suggestion is not a new way to use Facebook, but a way to test whether the scripts in the page are generating content at all.
On Firefox's optional top menu bar -- tap the Alt key or F10 key if it's hidden -- use
View > Page Style > No Style
to show the HTML content of the page without styling. Is there anything there? If you follow a link to another page, does it load?
To turn styles back on for the tab after the test:
View > Page Style > Basic Page Style
Hi Don, other users are reporting that Facebook works normally for them in a private window. That still points toward some problem with site data or databases used in regular windows but ignored in private windows. Does FB work for you in a private window? (Either Ctrl+Shift+p or right-click https://www.facebook.com/ and click Open Link in New Private Window.)
This could be a problem with local storage and possibly running this command in the Web Console to clear storage as posted in bug 1569296 might fix it.
- localStorage.clear()
- "3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Web Developer
- https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/Tools/Web_Console
- Bug 1569296 - Facebook pages loading blank

Thank you both for your replies. I was going to try your suggestion, jscher2000, but when I opened Firefox and clicked on my Facebook bookmark, Facebook loaded as expected. I have no idea what the issue is/was. But have saved this question so I can refer back to it if I have trouble in the future.
Thanks again to you both!
Don

As of 11/13/20 it's happening again, but this time, the problem is Revert Site. I disabled that and was able to get FB up, BUT with the new format. Sigh!
