Please Help Me - I have been using Thunderbird for several years, When I enter an email address it would always show in red if it was not in address book, so I would identify straight away that this was new. For some reason Thunderbird has updated itself and no longer shows new ones in red. How do I get Thunderbird to show first time email addresses in red ?

Chosen solution

They still show up in red when you're typing it, until you press Enter or enter a coma, then it get's enclosed in a "pill". See Addressing an Email
