My old computer crashed and I have a new one. I use Thunderbird for years so I have a lot of emails and address book in the old profile. I set up a new profile name and moved the contents of the old profile to the new folder. However if I try to change profile to read old emails I get a message about using different versions of Thunderbird...How do I get the old profile to run?...Can I transfer the old address books to the new profile? ... best regards, Peter

start Thunderbird with the appropriate command line to force the issue.
