I have an account with SPECTRUM.net at webmail.spectrum.net. Each time I attempt to establish this account in T'bird; it changes the STMP from above to mobile.charter.net; where the account is not recognized. I have established accounts with gmail, hotmail, yahoo and all are successful; however the SPECTRUM account is my main e-mail address! HELP!

Webmail and mail clients use different servers. The correct server for incoming and outgoing Spectrum mail is mobile.charter.net.

For the outgoing, try mobile.charter.net on 587, SSL/TLS.

In following your post: Your ref deals with MOBILE DEVICES. I am attempting to establish on a PC [sri if that info lead you off] and each time I use the ISP as mentioned it will not connect. I can get the mail directly from the server; but I have to go to three separate servers to get ALL my mail, when I want it to come thru one central hub. MS Mail&Calendar was my go to, but that has been corrupted, and I get the same answer from it now, as I do trying to use T-Bird. OUTLOOK gives me all, but I don't like the format of it and would like to have my HUB back. Any thoughts on that?

The so-called 'mobile' settings apply equally well to desktop computers, as you can see by reading the support link in my first reply. If you enter the recommended settings and still can't connect, disable any action of your antivirus on email.
