Since "upgrading" to Firefox version 86.0.1 I have been unable to log into my ASUS router to change the password. I had to manually input it the 1st time as the "upgrade" didn't import any save logon's. I have also tried copy/paste from a text file to ensure the user name/password were correct as well as resetting the router to factory settings.

Chosen solution

I have been unable for some time to log into my router using the url originally provided. To log into it now I have to use the http address. That is provided by my OS as 'gateway'; I don't know how you get it on Windows but I dare say there is a way.

Issue solved. Turned out it was a PEBKAC error.
