Thunderbird updated itself to 91.3.2 and has been acting weird since then. When starting, the window starts to disappear. I tried reinstalling, cleaning up the profile and disabling hardware acceleration, but the issue persists.

Weird, very weird. After running it on the other user it doesn't happen anymore. At least it hasn't happened yet.

Does it happen in safe/troubleshoot mode (hold Shift when launching TB)? If it still happens in safe mode, does it happen in Windows safe mode?

It acts even weirder in safe mode, some parts start appearing randomly after the window disappears. It still happens in Windows safe mode as well.

LOL! Fascinating, but mystifying. Wild guesses - Do you by chance have Windows running in a virtual environment on a different OS? OR, perhaps Remote Desktoping to a Windows machine? OR using multiple screens? Only asking because I wonder whether Windows is fighting another screen resolution setting or trying to 'snap'/resize. However no reason why TB would be the only app so affected. If you are running something other than straight Windows please describe the setup?

I'm running thunderbird on Windows 10 from my laptop, with two external monitors.

If it helps, I made a new user and thunderbird ran just fine there.

Gremlins in the machine!! Or a very clever roommate loaded a prank program? Just kidding. That is beyond weird.
