Overnight, my the text size on my Firefox interface shrunk significantly. No other programs have changed, nor has the text inside the browser. How can I change this back to the original size, and how can I prevent this from happening again?

Have you tried restarting Firefox or even rebooting your system? You could check the following setting in about:config. Open a new tab, enter about:config and accept the risk. The default value is -1. layout.css.devPixelsPerPx
