Win 11 FF 115.02

How can I permanently disable or remove the pop up that says, SIGN IN WITH GOOGLE?

None of the solutions match the reality of what my choices are on my G accounts page. For instance: https://www.howtogeek.com/735152/how-to-turn-off-the-sign-in-with-google-prompt-on-websites/

Nothing I have tried can remove it. Does some ace here have a solution?

Thank you.

Do you have a content blocker such as uBlock Origin installed? That extension in particular and AdGuard have settings to block the G pop-up.

I have AdBlock Plus. I didn't try blocking the element, but I will.

Thank you.

That will always appear if you set a Google homepage. That is something coming directly from Google itself. If you close it the first time it should go away but if you restore or reimage it will come back if you set a Google search homepage. If you want to complain that would be to contact Google support about the issue.

I do not now, nor have I ever, had a Google home page.

I know this shows up when one set a Google. com homepage. And sometimes if you use Google apps or online apps this also does show up other then if you where using Chrome.

I never use G apps, but occasionally I use search. Maybe once a month. Never use Chrome, either.

To block the pop-up repeatedly, you will probably have to use some other setting in Adblock Plus. I am not familiar with that extension.

Replace AdBlock Plus with uBlock Origin and enable all the Annoyances filters.
