I'm using the latest version of Firefox and just installed Firefox Notes. And now my Bookmarks sidebar has disappeared. And all the offered help says 'go to view and check favourites always on' is checked' Great and I can see no 'view' anywhere.

I'm using version 117.0.1 (64-bit) just installed Firefox Notes and now that is the only sidebar that appears, my bookmarked favourites sidebar has disappeared. All the help says go to 'View' check the sidebar for favourites if checked always on, fine but where is 'View' I have been through every dropdown i can find and there is no 'View'

Firefox Notes looks useful but not at the expense of losing my favourites sidebar.

Help please.

Update.

No sign of 'View' but have found that the sidebar now offers a choice of options. It can however only display only one of them including 'Notes', which isn't obvious given that it has it's own icon on the top toolbar.

Anyway now that I understand I cannot keep Notes open and view my favourites it all becomes clear.

If anyone's interested I do think it would be useful if Notes could be a discrete sidebar on it's own.

Best wish

John

Hi

Firefox Notes is no longer supported - it is no longer possible to sync notes to other devices. It may still work as a sidebar option and you should still be able to see your bookmarks by changing the sidebar option selected.
