The emails in the spam folder fail to delete after the desired expiration date. In account settings 'Junk Settings / Automatically delete junk mail older than x days' I select the desired expiration days but emails do not delete. Alternatively, I have changed the Retention Policy properties on the folder to deselect the 'Use my account settings and selected 'Delete messages more than x days' Still doesn't work. I have also repaired the folder but regardless nothing works. I have used SpamAssassin and SpamPal as the preferred program and that makes no difference. Any solution?

A folder that is named Spam is controlled by the mail provider (TB uses Junk), so try and set the properties through webmail settings.
