any updates concerning setting up a currently.att.yahoo email account in Thunderbird mail?
I am trying to setup my ka1vrf@bellsouth.net account in Thunderbird Mail. I have been reading a number of threads that say that this cannot be done, but a number of these are old threads, Has there been any changes and/or is there a way that I can setup my bellsouth email to forward to my gmail account?

Yahoo works. Yahoo requires a different password when using an email client and requires OAUTH2 authentication. This URL may assist: https://help.yahoo.com/kb/SLN15241.html
You may be able to do the reverse: have gmail retrieve mail from bellsouth.

Create a secure mail key and use that in TB in place of the account password.
