Does Firefox for Desktop not have the option to install PWAs (Progressive Web App) natively, as a feature included in the browser, not requiring third-party extensions? If the answer is no, is it possible to implement this very important feature? Thanks.

Support in desktop Firefox for Site Specific Browser (SSB) and Progressive Web Apps (PWA) has been dropped in Firefox 86, it is no longer possible to use this feature in current Firefox releases.

It would be great to implement it again, since in Firefox for Android the function exists and is great.

This is just an article that explains its advantages, features and use. Problem is that it was removed from Firefox and I don't know why?

Any reason why it was removed? It is a very important feature. And it will no longer be implemented?
