I am trying to change some profile information on one of my accounts. This is a site that requires you to view some scrawled words in a box and then type them in a box. Unfortunately, nothing is visible in the box. There is an audio box associated with this feature which allows you to type in words that you hear. The feature does work on another computer when I visit the same site. Both computers are running the same version of Firefox.

See http://kb.mozillazine.org/Images_or_animations_do_not_load

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).
See Troubleshoot extensions, themes and hardware acceleration issues to solve common Firefox problems and Troubleshoot issues with plugins like Flash or Java to fix common Firefox problems

Also check your security software and make sure that it doesn't block (small) images.
