I have uninstalled and reinstalled the toolbar with no luck. I logged out of yahoo (as suggested) shut everything down, rebooted the computer, logged back in with no luck. I hit the refresh button repeatedly (as suggested) with no luck. I installed it on Internet explorer and it is working fine there but I love Firefox and don't want to use IE but can't give up the toolbar either PLEASE HELP!
This has been a constant problem for the past 2 years between firefox and yahoo. It happens often to me when firefox updates the browser. Usually you just have to wait a few days. I wait about a week and if there is no change, uninstall and reinstall yahoo toolbar and then sign out and in under your ID. I use IE8 in the in the interim. I know many knock IE8, but it is just as quick on my machines as firefox and has been much more stable. I have never had a toolbar problem with yahoo on any of my installations.
BTW, I checked out this problem on the Mozilla forums and their solutions are next to useless.
Good luck.

What version of Yahoo Toolbar are you using (go to Tools > Add-ons and select Yahoo Toolbar)?
Try updating to the latest version on http://us.toolbar.yahoo.com/ (it looks like the latest version is from a couple days ago)
I had updated my toolbar as well, but I did like Stronium90 said and waited a couple of days and just tried logging out and back in and now its there :)
I probably should have said that as well... when Yahoo updates things, it tends to change its cookie format so you have to either clear your cookies or logout/login.
''''KEWL BEANS! ITS WORKING AGAIN!''''
Hi all,
I'm the product manager for the toolbar. I just wanted to verify the toolbar is working again. we caught the piece that wasn't agreeing with the Mozilla update and we pushed out a fix.
Thanks for the heads up that there was something wrong.
