How to get websites to save username/account names on iMac
I switched from a PC to an iMac almost a year ago, and continued to use Firefox as my browser. Initially, it all seemed to work as expected. After awhile, though, I found that website usernames/account names were no longer being saved. For example, my wife and I do online banking. Our bank's login page allows us to ask it to remember our account number, and an associated name. In the past, we could toggle between the two accounts, provide the appropriate password, and be logged in to the appropriate account. I've tried just about everything I can think of. Most of the support topics related to this focus on having Firefox save passwords. I don't want this, just for usernames and accounts to be remembered. Any help would be great!

Did you check if form fill is still enabled?
Firefox > Preferences > Privacy > History: "Remember search and form history"
Make sure that you not run Firefox in (permanent) Private Browsing - Use Firefox without saving history mode.
Uncheck: [ ] "Automatically start Firefox in a private browsing session"
To see all History settings, choose: Firefox > Preferences > Privacy, choose the setting Firefox will: Use custom settings for history
