I have two PCs with Firefox 3.6.13 and when I mouse over something that should cause a box with text to appear it only appears on one of them so what do I do?

With one PC when I mouse over a part of a website a box with text appears describing what I moused over. When I do that with the other PC nothing appears. If I switch out of Firefox to Internet Explore and go to the same website and mouse over, then text appears like the first PC. Since it works with IE and not Firefox on the second, but works OK with Firefox on the first, I assume it has something to do with Firefox. I am sending this to you on the PC where it works with Firefox.

Any difference in Add-ons between those two PC's, especially a difference in Extensions?

Issues with tooltips not working properly have been reported to be caused by the Google Toolbar (Tools > Add-ons > Extensions)

You can check if there is an update available that fixes that issue.

You can try to uninstall and reinstall the latest Google Toolbar.
