My awesome bar ends up with many websites that I have visited, but don't want them to remain on that list. How can I get them off that list?

Try clearing your browser cache.

Tools > Clear Recent History... - hit Details and make sure only Cache is selected, then select Everything and hit the Clear Now button.

Followed the directions to the "T", but nothing happened...even tried re-starting the Firefox just to give it an extra shove.

If those URLs have a Yellow Star on the right-side of the Location Bar drop-down, those are bookmarked websites.

Here's what it looks like...only two out of all of them do I want to remain.
