How can I have two buttons for "new tab" in version 4?

In version 3.x, there was a removable button on the toolbar for "new tab" plus a "+" button at the end of the address for the open tab that I could click to create a new tab. In version 4, I can have the removable button, but I can't see how to add the button at the end of the address for the open tab. I can move the single button to the end of the address window, but I can't seem to have two buttons. Can this still be done?

You need to drag the New Tab (+) button from the Tab Bar to another toolbar to make the second button to appear.

"Firefox > Options > Toolbar Layout" or "View > Toolbars > Customize"

You can do this with code in userChrome.css

Add code to userChrome.css below the @namespace line.

@namespace url("http://www.mozilla.org/keymaster/gatekeeper/there.is.only.xul"); /* only needed once */

#new-tab-button { visibility: visible !important; }
.tabs-newtab-button { visibility: visible !important; }

Thanks. I used ChromeEdit to edit the userChrome.css file. I must have done something wrong, though. In Toolbar, Customize, I now get options for chromedit, profile folder, chrome folder, etc, but I don't get an option to add a button for "new tab". I copied and pasted the text your provided, starting with "new -tab-button" and ending with the } at the end of the second line. What did I do wrong. Thanks for your help.
