I have a Mac 10.4. I downloaded Firefox 4. When I tried to use Firefox 4, I got a message that my computer wouldn't support it. Apparently I needed a Mac 10.5, and I didn't know that ahead of time. Now I have Firefox 4 on my computer, which replaced Firefox 3, and it (Firefox 4) won't work. How can I get Firefox 3 back? This has devastated my system.

Chosen solution

You can get the latest version of Firefox 3.6 from http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-older.html

When you reinstall Firefox 3,6 it will use your existing bookmarks and other user data.

Mozilla are working to prevent Mac users with non-compatible systems from getting the notification about Firefox 4, and also not displaying the "Download Firefox 4" button on http://www.mozilla.com
