When using ebay, the "more actions" option to the right of each item in the watched items list in my ebay does not do anything when I click on it. The action bar (?) at the bottom left which shows the page location (and when the page has loaded usually says "Done") just says "javascript:;" when I hover the cursor over the "more actions" link.

I found that the reason was I was using a mobile broadband dongle which didn't have a strong enough signal, I now have cable and the problem has disappeared, along with the other problem I had being that when I hovered the cursor on a picture, it said the quality would improve by hitting one of the f buttons (can't remember which).
