Flash Video Not Visible

more options

Flash video is not visible no matter where the source is. Audio will play but there are no player controls and the settings pop up will not pop up after a right click. Also, flash elements, like the photo uploader at photobucket, do not show either. I followed a multitude of suggested fixes at Firefox Help and Plugin Doc, all did nothing. I downgraded both shockwave and flash player to older versions but that didn't help either. Adobe and youtube test pages verify that I have the needed pluins installed. Have uninstalled Quicktime and deleted the files that Plugin Doc suggested. Video does work in IE 8 and on local players like CamStudio and Adobe Flash Catalyst

Just go here: Flash Plugin for Firefox

Install the second one down "Adobe Flash Player" and you should be able to see your video.
