Get message, " Firefox is configured to use a proxy server that is refusing connections; not allowing me to remove proxy server.

Message is telling me to: 1. check to see if proxy settings are correct 2. contact my network administrator to see if proxy server is working. I contacted Comcast; they told me i need to go to "TOOLS" tab to remove proxy server. I can't even get there, as i'm only getting a rectangular box from Firefox with the above message, without any tabs at the top to access.

You can find the connection settings in Tools > Options > Advanced : Network : Connection
If you do not need to use a proxy to connect to internet then select "No Proxy"
