Does the new 8.0.1 version support the Norton Identity Safe tool bar? Version 4.0 would not.

I downloaded in the past the Version 4.0 to my desktop (win 7), but it would not allow my Norton Identity Safe to install. Does this new software support all the features of the Norton Tool Bar? I have no problems with my current 3.6 version.

You have things backwards. Add-ons need to support the new version of Firefox, not the other way around.

Norton has been supporting each new version of Firefox with their add-ons, in the case of Firefox 6, 7, and 8, a patch was available from Norton on the same day that each new version of Firefox was released.
